Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Memorial College of Engineering, Sirsa was established in the year 2003. It is one of the premier colleges of Haryana, India. This is an affiliated college approved by AICTE and has a wide diversity of engineering programmes under its umbrella. The campus is spread over 180 acres with a student enrollment of 389 accompanied by 33 full-time faculty members.

It seeks to provide a holistic learning environment to its learners; the facilities include well-equipped laboratories, a modern library of more than 20,000 technical books, and the latest IT infrastructure. A separate campus for boys and girls provides safety and comfort to students coming from diversified backgrounds. The institute also gives due importance to the physical well-being of the students through a fully-equipped gym and a swimming pool. The auditorium with a sitting capacity of over 500 provides a base for any academic and cultural programme. JCDMCE Sirsa offers a total of 10 courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The national-level entrance examinations are the basis of the admission procedure in Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Memorial College of Engineering. The college takes admissions based on the scores obtained by the students in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) for the B.Tech programmes. Students must clear this exam to get into the college. GATE score is also considered for admitting students to the M.Tech programme by the college.
