Jijau College of Education, Nanded, started in 2008, is affiliated in Kandhar, Maharashtra. This institution has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to offer teacher education. Currently, it is housed in a small campus which occupies only two acres of land and has a total of seventy-three students, with only one degree programme to its credit currently.

Jijau College of Education has many enhanced learning amenities that can be used by learners to boost their studies. The college has sports facilities for the purposes of recreation and exercise as well as for recreation and relaxation. More importantly, they offer physical fitness and recreation through team sports. The college has an auditorium for the reception of lectures, seminars, and presentations, among others, during academic and cultural activities.

Jijau College of Education, as the name suggests, specialises in the provision of the B.Ed programme only. This course takes two years, but it is a full-time course that prepares the student for the teaching profession. 

Admission to courses in Jijau College of Education is done by an entry examination that takes into account the scores acquired in the entry examination and/or the qualifying examination. The college may also use other techniques of selection in view of the policies of the Maharashtra State Government and the university with which the college is affiliated.
