Kandra Radhakanta Kundu Mahavidyalaya, established in 2001, is a rural college affiliated with Purba Burdwan of West Bengal. It has been assessed and accredited by NAAC. The institute offers a diversified undergraduate and postgraduate course structure. The student enrolment of the college is 2,577 on a 5.27-acre campus with a faculty strength of 63. 

The college has many facilities to enrich students' learning experience. It has a well-stocked library with all types of books. These libraries are updated periodically to help various departments with their needs. Computerising the access system is under pipeline conditions, which will further enhance the efficiency of the library. Kandra Radhakanta Kundu Mahavidyalaya also has well-equipped departmental laboratories, which help students learn through practical sessions. It provides an MA in Bengali course at the postgraduate level.
