Karnataka Teachers B.ED College, Bijapur, is a self-financed college that was established in the year of 2004 and this is located in Vijayapura, Karnataka. This co-educational affiliated college, being approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), provides the best of traditional and modern education. Situated on 21.53 acres of land, the college at present has 181 students and has a committed team of 16 faculty members. The institute provides two primary courses. They are a regular two-year B.Ed. programme and a three-year BA programme to fulfil the educative needs of the society.

Karnataka Teachers B.ED College has numerous facilities provided to better the learning capability of the young talents. The focal point of these facilities is a spacious reading room, which contains a rich choice of professional and non-professional books, journals, periodicals, and newspapers in regional languages. Karnataka Teachers B.Ed College is a professionally focused college that comprises only two main programmes. The B.Ed. is a two-year full course for which a total intake capacity of one hundred students is approved. The purpose of this programme is to prepare future educators who will be ready for this profession with all the knowledge they need. The college also has another course, which is a full-time, three-year Bachelor of Arts programme that gives a general knowledge in Arts and Humanities.
