Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore was inaugurated in 2012 and one of the well known medical colleges in the Tamil Nadu, India. This college for both males and female students is NAAC ‘B+’ accredited affiliated college, recognized by the NMC and offers medical courses. It was observed that the student intake was 615 and faculty count was 129 hence imparting quality medical education in multiple specialisations. Since its inception, the college has expanded to offer 11 courses in 3 degree programmes with MBBS and other post graduate programmes, to produce qualified medical practitioners to meet the healthcare needs of the society.

For specialisations offered by the MS/MD course, the Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences grants admission based on merit in NEET-PG. The seat availability is specific to the specialisation and ranges from 1 to 3 for each specialisation. To apply for these programmes, the candidates should have completed an MBBS.
