Karuna college of Nursing, Palakkad has been set up in 2008 in Vilayodi, Chittur, Palakkad, Kerala. This is an Arts & Science co-educational institution situated on a 5-acre land and is an affiliated college with the INC. Three most important parameters, total number of students intake, total number of faculties and total number of students, for considering an institution for learning nursing collectively shows that Karuna College of Nursing has a total of 197 students enrol and 23 faculties. At the present, the college offers only one programme, B.Sc Nursing and the college is offering 60 seats to serve the need of the society and to extend quality nursing education.

This college has the following facilities that are aimed at improving the learning activities of students in the college. The library is one of the important academic facilities, which has over 3000 books and different national and international journals subscribing to internet for carrying out researches. From the practical side, the college has received specialised labs such as Foundations of Nursing Lab, Community Lab, Nutrition Lab, and MCH Lab. These facilities make sure that the students get practical experience that is vital in nursing school education. The campus also includes different hostels for boys and girls, which feed students and take care of their health during the stay.

Karuna College of Nursing provides only one full time programme, B.Sc Nursing, which is a four year course. Such specificity makes it possible for the institution to channel its resource and personnel toward providing quality nursing education.
