Keshav Madhav Baijnath Mahavidyalaya, Mau, Uttar Pradesh, is an affiliated college which came into existence in the year 2001. This is a co-educational institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the institution offers various undergraduate courses. The criteria of admission to Keshav Madhav Baijnath Mahavidyalaya are mainly based on the merit of the candidates. For the B.Sc and the BA programmes the admission in the colleges is strictly merit based generally on the percentage secured by the student in the relevant qualifying examination. The D.El.Ed programme has a more defined admission process as a distance education programme. According to the policy of the state government or UT administration, admission to this course is merit-based and merit includes the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination, if any.
