Khajuraho Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chhatarpur was established in 2019, making it relatively young institute in the country’s pharmaceutical education system. As an affiliated college of Madhya Pradesh, the college has come up with great vigour towards serving the cause of pharmacy education. The institute with a sprawling campus of seven acres is AICTE – PCI approved to maintain the standards of education prescribed by the Indian government. It admitted 108 students and currently has 16 faculties to provide a concentrated learning atmosphere to Pharmacy students.

Khajuraho Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences reveals a number of resources meant to improve the learning environment for students. An efficient library is also an essential resource centre that should contain materials important in enhancing pharmaceutical education. This is very important particularly for developing practical skills in pharmacy as provided by the laboratories of the college. Khajuraho Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences provides two major courses. The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is a four years full time course sampled with an approved student capacity of one hundred students. The institute also has a two year full-time course with 60 seats in its Diploma in Pharmacy(D.Pharma). Both programmes are academic in nature and aim to equip students with all round knowledge and skills necessary for the discharge of their duties in the pharmaceutical industry, research and health care.
