Located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the Khyati School of Design (KSD) is an independent institution in this field for the creative minds of young design aspirants. The school, although its formation year is unknown, definitely created a niche for itself among the listed famous design schools in the region. The institute runs multiple programmes in design, offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, meeting needs related to different specialisations in this area. The faculty has 17 members, KSD aims to provide quality education and practical experience for upcoming designers in their related fields of study. 

Khyati School of Design is located behind Electrotherm Industries, Near Viraj Gopi Society, off S. P. Ring Road, Palodia, Ahmedabad. The location of the campus gives students enough environment to carry out their learning with innovative skills. The institute is fully equipped with all facilities supporting students in their academics. The library acts as a knowledge centre and provides resources for design education. Practical exposures are provided through departmental laboratories, which consist of experiments and hence help students translate theoretical input into practice. Khyati School of Design offers 9 courses at undergraduate and graduate levels across various design disciplines. All programs offered by the institute are full-time courses.  All of the B.Des courses are four-year and M.Des two-year. The wide range of specialisations offered would include Fashion and Costume Design, Lifestyle Accessory Design, Textile Design, Visual Communication, Interior and Furniture Design, and Industrial Product Design at the undergraduate level. KSD, for postgraduate studies, offers specialisations in Interior and Spatial Design, User Experience Design, and Fashion and Styling.

The admission process at Khyati School of Design is an investigation into creative potential. Admission to undergraduate courses is granted based on a creative situation test, a personal interview, and an evaluation of the portfolio conducted by the institute. Meanwhile, KSD also accepts scores for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design in the case of B.Des admissions. The UCEED score will be checked against the cutoff at KSD for eligibility. The process of admission to these postgraduate programs consists of a creative situation test, personal interview, and portfolio evaluation. This ensures that the institute admits only those students with the right aptitude and passion for design.
