The college was established in 1994. KLCE, Pottapalayam is a private university affiliated to  Anna University, Chennai. The college offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. KLCE, Pottapalayam UG courses include BE/B.Tech in different disciplines. Some of which are BE Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Information Technology, BE Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and many more. 

KLCE, Pottapalayam UG Admissions are offered to candidates who must have passed class 12th with at least 50% marks from a recognised board. All the courses are offered in full time mode only. KLCE, Pottapalayam PG courses include ME/M.Tech, MBA and MCA. Students who are aspiring KLCE, Pottapalayam PG admissions must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised board and valid score in TANCET examination.
