KPMCH is registered under Section 4(2) of The West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 as a society and is sponsored by the renowned orthopedic surgeon and medical entrepreneur Dr. Kali Pradip Chaudhuri and this society gave birth to the institute. The institute is approved by the Government of West Bengal and recognized by the Medical Council of India and is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. KPCMCH offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students.

NEET ELIGIBILITY MARKS
The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects
UR - 50%,
OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
PWD - 45%
However, class 12 marks are not taken into consideration during the admissions process or the counselling process.

From any Medical College in India are required to complete Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) and After the completion of M.B.B.S. course candidates are required to get a registration certificate from Medical Council of India.
Moreover, An internship of one year after the four-and-a-half-year MBBS course is mandatory to get the degree and to be eligible for postgraduate admissions.
