Lakhimpur Medical College was established in the year 2017 in Chowkham of Lakhimpur district, Assam, to establish it as the premiere medical college of the country. This co-educational college is one of the affiliated colleges that offer quality medical education as approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Located in Chowkham, Assam, the college has only one course, the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
