Late Pooran Ramprakash Dixit College, Hamirpur, was set in 2014 and is an affiliated college located in Gahrauli, Muskra, Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh. This college occupies the 8-acre campus and provide multiple educational programmes for the 2,016 students enroled. The institution is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which provides for quality teaching in its teacher training programmes. Kollegala is a college with a teaching staff complement of 30 members offering eight courses and six degree programmes including Education, Arts, Agriculture and Pharmacy, amongst others.

Late Pooran Ramprakash Dixit College, an affiliated College of Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, trains the student to achieve success in the practical world by providing them full-time courses in many different disciplines. It’s offering 8 courses namely undergraduate and postgraduate courses, diploma courses as well. At present, the college offers programmes in Arts under BA, Agriculture under B.Sc Agriculture and M.Sc Agriculture, Education under B.El.Ed and D.El.Ed, Humanities under MA in Political Science and Hindi and pharmacy under D.Pharma.

Candidates are selected strictly on merit with regards to the marks in the entrance examination which comprises written examination, fitness test and interview as well as the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination for the B.El.Ed programme.
