Dear Angela, once you qualify in NEET, NTA will release the merit list. And every state has 85% for candidates who fulfil the domicile criteria and 15% for All India quota. If you are from Kerala and you fulfil the domicile of Kerala, ypu can only participate in the 15% All India Quota for a Medical seat in Tamilnadu. After NEET, every medical college will release its cut off and so will Madras Medical College. If you fulfil their cut off, you will have to register and apply for their college and also register for All India Counselling. In the counselling, based on your rank, score and category, you will be given a seat.

Hello Pooja,

According to the revised guidelines, all post-graduate and diploma students studying in Tamil Nadu medical college must serve in a posting prescribed by the government of Tamil Nadu for a minimum period of 2 years.

The students must pay ₹2,00,000 upon admission as a surety deposit to the government.

This deposit will be returned to the candidate upon completion of the service but if one wishes to exit the bond, this amount will not be returned.

This applies to both All India Quota as well as State Quota students taking admission in a PG/diploma course in a medical college in Tamil Nadu.

I hope this helps resolve your query, good luck! :)

Hi

AIIMS  NEW DELHI.

UCMS  NEW DELHI.

PGIMS  ROHTAK.

SETH GS MEDICALCOLLEGE(KEM)  MUMBAI.

VMMC  NEW DELHI.

Thank you::)

Both the colleges you have mentioned are extremely good with their level of medical undergraduate education and christian medical college well all is well-known to give hands-on experience with the most of the clinical techniques and also train student sequential in preclinical and paraclinical subjects
Madras medical college is also one of the premier medical colleges in the states and preferred by many students sensor is a government medical college and gives more patient exposed also Christian medical college Vellore also has a big turnover of patients throughout the year but being a private medical college only 15 out of 100 students who admitted in every batch at the MBBS level are general category students
the entrance is definitely tougher for Christian medical college Vellore and if you qualify in it I would advise you to try for it but talking practically it is much easier to secure a chance into Madras medical college via Neet examination and does I would ask you to consider it as a practical and viable option in your choice making
