MIT Coimbatore is an affiliated college of Anna University established in 2006.The institution is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This is a co-educational institution situated in Arasur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and it accredited by AICTE, India. MIT Coimbatore currently has two undergraduate engineering courses in its admitting plan, with a total admission capacity reaching 23 students. It has a diverse faculty with 151 members to make sure they provide the students with the best student-to-faculty ratio. 

MIT Coimbatore has the provision of certain facilities intended to improve the student experience. Hostel facilities for boys are 750 in number, while that for girls’ have a capacity of 400; the hostels come with healthy eating and drinking with 24/7 supply of mineral water. The college has sufficient number of books and journals and has a library with 15381 books and 124 national and international journals. The 550-square-meter seating capacity is 150 students. For the sports lovers, it includes an area of 5 acres with play field such as football, basketball, cricket and other indoor games. There are also modern Information Technology facilities like 810 computer systems, 140 KVA UPS, spacious cafeteria, etc.

The institute currently offers two full-time Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes: This is attributed to our major programs, which include Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
