Maharaja Jivajirao Shinde Mahavidyalaya, Shrigonda which is also known as MJS Shrigonda was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. MJS Shrigonda courses consist of a total of 8 programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the BA, B.Com, B.Sc, MA, M.Com and M.Sc Chemistry degree courses in the disciplines of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Commerce, Sciences. MJS Shrigonda admissions to the said courses are done based on the merit of the scores acquired by the candidates in their previous qualifying examination. According to the data provided by the NIRF ‘2023’, a total of 17 students were placed during the MJS Shrigonda placements 2022.
MJS Shrigonda college has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Maharaja Jivajirao Shinde Mahavidyalaya Shrigonda college is also affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune (UNIPUNE). College infrastructure is good and having all necessary equipments. All students are happy in college campus. College campus is spacious and has separate playground. There is also sports Auditorium. All classes are neat and clean. And has girls hostel. Boys don't have hostel facility.
