Affiliated college MAIET or Mahath Amma Institute of Engineering and Technology is situated in Pudukkottai in Tamil Nadu and was founded only in 2009. This B. Tech., institution is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.) and is located in a 13 acre campus. The subject specialisations of MAIET are grouped under 3 degrees, 14 courses taught to a total student enrolment of 398. The institute currently has a total faculty of one hundred and nine members thus favoring student-teacher ratio. MAIET is a premier institution for engineering and technology and offers specific courses in fields of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science & Engineering and Agricultural Engineering.

MAIET makes available all types of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. 10 undergraduate courses are offered by the institute including BE Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Agricultural Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Data Science.

MAIET has admission process to be conclusive and that according to their performance the students are allowed to join MAIET. In the case of the undergraduate civil engineering programme, the institute only accepts the TNEA counselling code.
