Mahe Co-Operative College of Teacher Education is situated at Mahe, Puducherry and it caters only the education degree aspirants. Having been founded in 2005, this affiliated college has nurtured relevant talents for education for almost two decades. Recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education the college has taken the co-educational policy to impart education for both male and female students. Currently, the college has a total student population of 189 and 14 faculty members to guarantee that every student gets personal attention as well as quality education.

The college has a recorded list of facilities that aspire to improve the education of the learners. It therefore boasts of proper information technology structures which are important in supporting the current trends in learning. Mahe Co-Operative College of Teacher Education, an affiliated College of Pondicherry University, Puducherry, currently offers one primary course: the Bachelor of Education degree commonly known as the B.Ed program. This course ia full-time and takes two years to complete; the course has an approved capacity of one hundred students. The B.Ed program ensures students are produced with adequate knowledge, skills and experience throughout their teaching career.
