Mahesh Singh B.Ed. College was established at Gaya in Bihar; the category of institution is Teacher Education. The affiliated college was established in the year 2012 and has been moulding future teachers for over a decade now. Mahesh Singh B.Ed. College offers two regular courses running on full-time scale, namely, a Bachelor of Education program known as B. Ed. and a Diploma in Elementary Education known as D.El. Ed. B. Ed. Intake Capacity 150 students for a period of two years with the aim of training graduates to teach up to senior secondary school level. D. El. Ed. Course intake capacity is 100 students for a period of two years training for elementary education. 

Admission to Mahesh Singh B.Ed. College shall be made strictly on merit, taking into account marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as and when applicable. The admission policy of the college is framed by the policies of the state government of Bihar and that of the affiliating university. For B.Ed. programme undertaken at college level, additional criteria may be applied for selection, if required by the guidelines of the university. D.El.Ed. Admission also adheres to the policies devised by the state government or UT administration.
