Malineni Lakshmaiah Women's Engineering College, founded in 2008, is one of the premier colleges spread over 5.08 acres of land at Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. The admission procedure of MLWEC into the B.Tech courses is mainly based on entrance examinations. For B.Tech courses, the candidates have to qualify in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). Conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. For postgraduate admissions into the M. Tech programmes at MLWEC, a valid GATE score or rank in AP PGECET is required. The institution also accepts other examination scores, viz. APICET, while admitting students to its courses in MBA and MCA.
