Mandan Bharti Agricultural College, Agwanpur came into existence in the year 2007. It is a constituent college for the advancement of Agricultural Education and Research under Saharsa, Bihar. The College campus is spread over a lush green area of 75 acres. MBAC offers very conducive environments for learning and innovation with a total enrolment of 175 students and a faculty strength of 25, which translates into personalised attention and quality education.

Such an institution offers a very impressive set of facilities that back up the learning processes for its students. It has a library that is a haven of knowledge equipped with about 5,000 specialised books on agriculture, animal husbandry, and basic sciences related to agricultural engineering. The ARIS Cell is a Centre for IT-based facilities, serving with high-end servers and networking devices. Other facilities available in the college include a well-furnished guest house, auditorium for events and seminars and a canteen. MBAC has separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls, assuring comfortable stays for students who come from different parts of the country.

Currently, only one full-time course, the B.Sc. Agri. Hons. program, is being offered by MBAC. The three-year program aims to provide detailed knowledge and practical skills in agricultural sciences to the students.
