Mathura Singh Teacher Training College, Chapra, Bihar, was started in the year 2010. It is an affiliated co-educational institution that specialises in teacher education. It offers two full-time courses in teacher education: B.Ed and D.El.Ed. The institution is spread over a compact campus of 1 acre in Chapra, Bihar. The institution got approval from the NCTE for its activities aimed at imparting quality education to the students in teaching. The college has a total student enrolment of 146 with a faculty strength of 16, thus maintaining a very decent student-teacher ratio for prospective teachers.
