MATS School of Pharmacy, Raipur is one of the newest colleges in India as it was founded in the year 2022. While the college is fully funded by the university located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh state of India. It is a fairly young institution that has rapidly earned the status of a promising educational centre in the field of pharmaceuticals in the region. Recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India PCI, the school proffers comprehensive programmes in pharmacy for the pharmacy and health care aspirants. MATS School of Pharmacy was able to enrol 12,079 total students and 2 total faculty members and offers its students a more personalised educational experience. 

MATS School of Pharmacy, an affiliated college of MATS University,  has several amenities that are more in catchment to its academic and co-curricular activities for students. The campus has modern laboratory facilities, which are needed for practical studies in pharmaceutical sciences area. The school provides a well-stocked library well equipped with books, magazines, newspapers, journals online facilities to cope with students’ needs and demands. They also have to have their accommodation because the institute has different hostel accommodations for both male and female students’ convenience. Such hostels are intended to create a group atmosphere and help students succeed in their classes. For those who would like to take care of the physical appearance, the gym which is well equipped and an air conditioned hall for exercises, and sports for indoor games.

At present, this particular educational institution provides two courses in this field of specialisation. The B.Pharma is a four year programme while the D.Pharma is a two year course. Both programmes are tailored to equip students with adequate pharmaceutical science knowledge and skills and career opportunities in the pharmacy’s different segments. The approval for these courses is three students each for the two programmes per semester or 60 students per year for each programme, and 120 students in total. This makes the taking of newcomers limited to enable the provision of undivided attention as well as quality education to all the learner who enrol in the institution.

This school recognised the value of offering quality pharmacy education, where PCI approval also attests that the programmes meet national operating standards for pharmacy business.
