Meenakshi college of nursing was started in the year 2017 and situated in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the firstly developed institution of nursing education in Tamil Nadu. Kottakudi, Melur Taluk, is an affiliated college accredited by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), thus providing quality education. The college, which occupies the spacious territory of 19 acres, is designed for female students, which makes it possible to create a comfortable learning environment for future nurses. It is a small institution with an overall strength of 128 students and 8 faculties which give individual care to the students.

Meenakshi College of Nursing currently offers one full-time course: which include the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing). This pattern, in general, is contained in a four-year programme with approved annual intake capacity of 60 students that offered focused and specialised nursing education. The B.Sc. Nursing course in this institution is intended to produce professional nurse who will have adequate knowledge and skills attained from the course to practice in health facilities.
