MGM’s institute for college of library information science, Nanded was founded in 2002 to prepare the young generation to become professional librarian and information scientist. S.G.B Established and affiliated to summer college Nanded, Maharashtra, this college lies near the airport on the Hingoli Road which has specialised courses in library and information science. Hence, the college has 71 students and faculties of 2 and is co-educational. 

MGM’s institute for college provide networking opportunities and also ensures that communication with graduates is fully established. Thus, to supplement education for the benefits of the students’ health, there are provided sports facilities. The college has an auditorium where different event, seminars, sharing of knowledge and other cultural activities take place. Heath centre with first aid, facility helps to maintain general health of students and sufficient IT facilities to facilitate modern methods of learning. Also included is transport services for the college’s student and staff which enable easy access to the college, affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.

Altogether, MGM’s College of Library and Information Science has two courses that are full time in nature. For this purpose the offered B.Lib.Sc and M.Lib.Sc courses are the combination of strategies, concepts, techniques, and ideas of this spearheading field of library information science.
