Microtek Institute of Information Technology, Varanasi (MIIT) is one of the well-known Institutions founded in 1995. Situated in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh in the culturally rich city of Varanasi, this institute has been paving the path for young professionals for more than two decades now. As it has already been mentioned, MIIT is located on a very small piece of ground of 0.45 acres, so the school provides its students with rather a homelike atmosphere on campus. Currently, the institute has a total population of 60 students and is staffed by a faculty of 7 members to give students individual attention and academic excellence. MIIT boasts of a number of amenities that enrich the learning process of its learners.

This is an affiliated college of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur.

There is a rich choice of five full-time programmes that can be pursued at the institute to fit students’ academic and professional goals. Such programmes are Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and post-graduate Diploma in computer applications. These above-stated courses are structured to be run for three years except the PGDCA which is a one-year programme. This institute has an overall enrolment of 60 students for all its courses, which helps in maintaining a limited number of students for each course.
