Set up in the year 2003 MIMS College of Nursing is a premier nursing college situated in Vadakedathparamba, Puthukode, Malappuram DT, Kerala. Naresh owned affiliated college is NAAC certified college which is approved by INC – Indian Nursing Council. MIMS College of Nursing is located on a large land area of approximately forty eight acres and the college has over two hundred and forty six students taking different nursing courses. Having a total of 54 members, the faculty of the institute maintains an effective student-faculty ratio in favor of the students. The college offers 6 unique courses under two degree levels focused on various nursing specialties such as general, psychiatric, pediatric and among others.

MIMS College of Nursing primary goal is ensure that its students have the best environment for them to learn in. It provides a number of amenities to enable academic and individual advancement. The campus boasts of having a different hostel section for each sex because this is important in accommodating those students who prefer on campus hostels. Presently, MIMS College of Nursing has a total of six full time nursing courses including under graduate and post graduate level. The major programme of the institute is the B.Sc Nursing course for which the institute has got an approval for eighty students intake. The college offers five courses in M.Sc Nursing at the postgraduate level and each of these courses differs in the intake capacity. The current student enrolment for all the courses offered is two hundred and forty six student numbers, this is good measure the institute’s policy of limiting number of students per class year in a bid to produce quality results.
