MIT WPU School of Education in Pune was founded in 2007 and is part of the MIT-World Peace University. This is a college based in Kothrud, Pune for teacher training programmes. Starting from a faculty pool of 12 committed teachers, MITWPU’s School of Education hosts two focused programmes to train Education professionals. 

WPU School of Education, Pune is affiliated with the college Dr Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. Admitting both male and female students, MIT WPU School of Education plays an important role in furthering the idea of education by means of its well-defined subject focus and an orientation towards practice. MIT WPU School of Education has well equipped campus to meet the needs of students and provide them with comfortable environment for learning. The college is so privileged to have a library that is containing 4,865 books, 23 journals, and 65 encyclopedias to support research and learning in college and educational development . Smart classes make learning an engaging activity while the Information technology resources help the students to update their knowledge in the area of Information Technology.

We also treat students as clients, which makes a health centre complete with first aid facilities necessary in cases of sickness and injuries. MIT WPU School of Education offers three full-time courses. It offers a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and a Master of Education (M.Ed) programme to its learners.

The admission to MIT WPU School of Education is based strictly on merit for B.Ed and M.Ed courses.
