The ML Institute of Diploma Studies, Visnagar, was established in 2004 and is now one of Gujarat's strong educational institutions in India. It has a vast area of 30 acres, and the affiliated college has been granted approval by AICTE to conduct quality education in different branches of engineering. Currently, the student enrolment in this institute is 604, while it has 65 faculty members. One such institution is ML Institute of Diploma Studies, which offers six diploma programmes in different engineering specializations, hence justifying its claim of being a regional hub of technical education.

The institute boasts of various facilities for the enrichment of its students while studying here. Boys' and girls' hostels with a capacity of 400 and 100 students, respectively, are on-campus. A fully computerized library with internet facilities and subscription to IEEE e-journals provides a knowledge centre for the students and faculty. ML Institute of Diploma Studies offers a total of six full-time diploma courses in engineering, each with a duration of three years. Courses go ahead to diplomas in Mechanical, Automobile, Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, and Computer Engineering.                                     

On the other hand, the Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC) declares the merit lists based on the academic performance of the candidates in their respective previous qualifying examinations.
