MNR PG Teacher Education College, Kukatpally, was started in the year 2001 and is one of the prime institution to mold the future generation. This is an affiliated college located in Hyderabad, Telangana and it has been recognised by the  National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for maintaining quality standard in teacher education. Situated at two and half acres of land, the college offers one professional course in education with a total intake capacity of 150. At present, MNR PG Teacher Education College has a complement of 10 highly qualified faculty members who offer their professional experience to students. MNR PG Teacher Education College offers one full-time courses, the Master of Education (M.Ed). The M. Ed programme can accommodate fifty students and is specialised for those intending to gain further knowledge and research skills in education. It takes two years to complete and provides education theory and practice training to candidates. This core education programme is offered at the college in order to prepare professional and knowledgeable educators who are capable of bringing positive change within the practice of education.

The admission process in MNR PG Teacher Education College follows the admission policy and practice in a way that provides equal chance for the candidates. For M.Ed course, admissions are done in two categories only. Out of the total seats in Category A which is about 90%, the candidate has to appear for an entrance examination conducted by Osmania University. This requirement helps to safeguard that the candidates have appropriate ability set for a career in education. The final 10% is in Category B, under which distribution the college directly oversees the occupation of the available seats.
