Moolchand Mahavidyalaya is a renowned school established in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, in the year 2006 that shapes the young generation. These colleges for both genders, located at the centre of Holipur, Saidpur, cater to the education of prospective teachers. Being an affiliated college, it follows the directions of a university, which means strictly following the laid-down procedures for curriculum delivery and quality education. The institute has successfully received the recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), indicating the commitment to the highest standard in every course affiliated to the institute in teacher education.

Moolchand Mahavidyalaya is affiliated with Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU), Jaunpur. Moolchand Mahavidyalaya boasts of their development plan of creating numerous facilities in areas to complement learning to cater for the students' needs. The library occupies a significant place in the academic stock, which keeps more than ten thousand books, dictionaries, reference books and manuals. At this time, the Moolchand Mahavidyalaya is able and willing to impart only one course, the two-year Bachelor of Education. This is a two-year full-time course and aims at producing competent and dedicated teachers for the future. The college has an intake for 100 students and offers its students a course that encompasses both the theoretical and the practical parts of teaching. The B.Ed programme is the flagship course at the institute and depicts how committed the institute is to education. At the moment the total student intake is put at 1,132, while faculty strength stands at 10, and given this, the ratio in the college indicates that the college is actually able to offer its students personalised attention and direction. 

The admission to the B.Ed programme offered at Moolchand Mahavidyalaya is on the grounds of merit by focusing on the score obtained in the qualifying examination/entrance test. Thus, the college follows the admission policies as per the norms of the state government, U.T. Administration, and affiliated university, which are prohibitive and selective.
