MOSC, an independent institute of Allied Health Sciences Kolenchery was established in 2017 and thus it is a young health care institute. This affiliated college is located in Ernakulam, Kerala and offers post graduate specialized education in allied health sciences. The institute has a student enrolment capacity of 36-intake and faculty strength of 13 which contributes towards the focused learning environment within the institution.For. At the moment the institute has only one postgraduate program, Master of Hospital Administration (MHA), which shows the focus of the institute on building up healthcare managers.

The institute has also put up several facilities which enhance teaching and learning including modern day facilities. To enhance training, the campus has practical laboratory facilities, advanced teaching-accomplished loose classes with wireless web association, and a library comprising of medical books and periodicals. In his view to support the student’s well being, out station students are offered separation based boys hostel and girls hostel. It also has a health facility for students in form of health center with first aid services for any emergences. Extra facilities such as a canteen, playground and a gym ensures that students lead a healthy lifestyles.

From an academic standpoint, MOSC Institute of Allied Health Sciences, an affiliated college of Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, now only offers its Master of Hospital Administration or MHA programme. This is a full time post graduate course of two years duration, which aims to produce healthcare managers equipped for leadership responsibilities. Probably, the programme you enrolled for has courses in the numerous management issues that hospitals present, the existing and evolving health policies and the special management principles about healthcare facilities. 

MOSC Institute of Allied Health Sciences follows certain admission procedure and all admission to the MHA programme are meritorious only. The prospecting students are subjected to an aptitude test that determines their ability to do health management studies.
