The MRR College of Education was established in the year 2010 at Nandigama, located in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Being a co-educational institution, it is affiliated with a college and has approval from the NCTE. It is located near the DSP Office on Madhira Road and provides especial courses in education. Having a total enrolment of students of 311, MRR College of Education provides a focused learning environment for aspiring educators. Currently, it has three major courses: B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed, targeted at different levels of teacher training or education. 

This college has several facilities for the students in order to make their learning comfortable. The library is very significant in terms of being a resource centre, as students will get various education materials and literature. The college has a health centre with first-aid facilities to cater to the interests of students' health and well-being. Realising the role of technology in modern education, MRR College of Education is provided with excellent IT infrastructure so that students are knowledgeable in using digital tools for teaching and learning. Sports facilities are also arranged with a view to having a balanced approach in education and physical fitness with team spirit amongst the students. 

MRR College of Education runs a total of three courses, all full-time. While B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) has the highest enrolment with 100 seats, both the M.Ed (Master of Education) and D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) have 50 each. This wide variety of courses extends the service of teaching training beginning from elementary to advance levels. By focusing on these key education programmes, the college demonstrates a commitment to raising a pool of well-trained educators who can teach at different levels in educational institutions.

The merit-based selection process is taken for admission at MRR College of Education. Admission to the M.Ed course shall be made based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination, entrance examination, if conducted or any other selection process adopted by the policy of the state government/University/UT administration. Likewise, admission in D.El.Ed course shall be on the basis of qualifying examination marks and/or entrance examination result; the selection process for it shall be as specified by the state government or UT administration.
