Muduganti Suryamma College of Education for women, Asifabad, was started in the year 2007, which is exclusively for teacher education located in the state of Telangana. This co-educational college has an area of 1 acre of land and is an affiliated college recognised by the NCTE. The institute provides an ideal student academic environment with a total enrolment of two hundred students and a faculty strength of sixteen instructors. 

Muduganti Suryamma College of Education has developed several facilities to improve the learning environment of the students. In this regard, every institution is provided with a modern, equipped library that helps to develop and support academic achievements as well as to develop ideas. The college has a well-equipped IT facility with LAN and internet connections and a computer lab with latest configuration, where students practise a large number of software applications and internet surfing. A large seminar hall that has been designated to accommodate extension lectures, seminars, workshops and college-related activities such as cultural presentations and has an audio system so as to support various activities that it may host.

Muduganti Suryamma College of Education, an affiliated college of Kakatiya University, Warangal, offers only one course, which includes the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course. This is a two-year full-time programme with an approved capacity of taking one hundred students. The B.Ed programme is offered with the aim of producing trained teachers capable of practising their trade in teaching practice. 

Admissions to the B.Ed programme in Muduganti Suryamma College of Education are through the Education Common Entrance Test, popularly known as TS Ed.CET managed by the Government of Telangana.
