Munnar Catering College (MCC), launching in 2004, is one of the renowned organisations involved in hospitality education which is based at Munnar, Kerala. This affiliated college is located at Sooryanelli, Thachankary Hills and the college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Located in a 5 acre campus, MCC has a number of distinct programmes in hospitality and tourism management. This college has aggregate intakes of 269 and faculty 22 which indicates that the college offers concentrated learning atmosphere. The admission criteria to get into Munnar Catering College differ according to the programme of the students. The admission criteria followed to join B. Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration for the course is the Joint All India Entrance Examination conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology NCHM&CT. The exam referred to as NCHM JEE remains one of the major entry points for students wishing to be hospitalities.
