Murugesan Institute of Technology (MIT) is a self financed engineering college was started in the year of 1997 located at Salem district of Tamilnadu. This affiliated college, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE], New Delhi has been serving the purpose of nurturing young engineers for the past two decades. The campus is at Salem-Attur Main Road Karumapuram and this institution provides diploma courses in different branches of engineering.
