The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (Divyangjan) formerly known as the National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped, Secunderabad was established in 1984. The institute offers 7 degrees at various levels like UG, PG, and Diploma. These courses are recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Admissions into this college are based on the academic requirements and in accordance with the institute’s and affiliated university’s rules and regulations.
