Located in a calm environment at Nedumangad Kerala, Nightingale College of Nursing (NCN) has been a centre for training health care professionals after admitting in 2006. This co-educational institution aiming to establish the quality nursing education in the region is affiliated to INC, India. Located over a sprawling 4 acre campus, NCN favours learning and development of the students. ACAC has a small student population of 146 students and an equally competent faculty of 13 members hence guaranteeing personalised attention and quality training to the would be nurses.

Nightingale College of Nursing owns several facilities that are tastefully equipped with state of the art technologies with in helping in students learning process. The college has adequate accommodation facilities, which are equipped with functional laboratories to offer practical experience necessary in the college. A library with general collection is basically a source of the information which can be used in learning. To cater for the deserving needy quintessence, NCN has accommodation for the boys and girls separately to facilitate their comfortable stay within the duration of their studies. Moreover, Internet facilities are availed to the campus, to enhance the Internet connectivity to an efficient Wi-Fi access point in order to support the students’ use of the internet. Some of the facilities include; – An auditorium that is used for seminar, meetings among other event enhancing the experience of the student community. A health centre is also available in the college as the institution supporting the students with health concerns. In this case some fun and exercise can be had at sports facilities to help students leading a balanced life.

Currently, the Nightingale College of Nursing presents only one important course in the sphere of healthcare profession namely the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing). This is a full-time course, which takes four years to complete and empowers students with adequate knowledge in the understanding of nursing.
