Nirmala College of Pharmacy, Ernakulam (NCP) is a recognized College was established in 2004 at Muvattupuzha, Kerala. This co-educational affiliated college is NAAC certified, PCI approved college. NCP is located on a 5000 sqm piece of land and provides 5 courses in three different degree levels in pharmacy. Total enrollment of the college is 514 students, out of them seventy two percent are females and twenty eight percent are male students. NCP employs a total of 36 faculty members which ensure a reasonable student to faculty ratio and quality teaching in pharmaceutical sciences is achieved.

The college has all the amenities that can enable it effectively support its academic programs. NCP has 21 well equipped laboratories and a central instrument room that is fully equipped with modern pharmaceutical analytical instruments which enhances practical practical exposure of students in research and development. It is equipped with a library home to 7826 books /periodicals along with 23 electronic journals, 10 national journals and 13 International journals. 

Students also use the LEXICON drug information software. The IT infrastructure comprises two computer rooms outfitted with scanner and printer, and there are many other connective points on internet all over the campus. To ensure adequate hostels, the college has provided different hostel sections for male and female students.

Nirmala College of Pharmacy provides all courses that are relating to pharmacy field. The institute offers 5 courses of which 1 is undergraduate level, 3 are postgraduate level and 1 is a doctoral level programme, namely, B.Pharma, M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Pharmacy Practice), Pharm.D respectively. All programs are delivered full time, and specialization areas include pharmaceutical management, clinical and administrative pharmacology, industrial pharmacy and paediatric pharmacy. 

The B.Pharma program has sanctioned or recognized seat intake capacity of One hundred or 100, the intakes for post graduate as well as Doctorate programs may defer. In the academic year 2022, total enrolment of the college was 514, among them Undergraduate was 327, postgraduate was 8 and doctoral students were 179.

Nirmala College of Pharmacy uses admission process to identify students with potential for the programs offered by the college. The college, albeit, does not disclose details regarding examinations but it is assumed that it takes into account any related entrance examination for the pharmacy courses in Kerala. Currently the institute has scholarships available for the students and in the 2022 academic year 13 undergraduate students were reimbursed.
