With the establishment of  NMT Gujarati College of Pharmacy in the Year 2007 in Indore, the institution occupies the major place to educate the pharmacy in Madhya Pradesh. Situated close to Bombay Hospital in Educational Complex, Indore, this is an affiliated college that has gained PCI approval. NMT Gujarati College of Pharmacy has a 21 strong, highly qualified faculty well experienced in shaping young pharmacists. It is a co-educational institution that means that females as well as males are admitted harmonising the genders and creating understanding environment.

Another impressive feature is that the college has great resources to complement the students’ college learning experience. The library from where the latest national and international books, journals, magazines and pharmacopoeias are available. Book bank facility has also been made available by the college so that students could have basic learning materials with them. All these work in modern facilities that are well-equipped and air-conditioned and offer hands-on learning that students need for their pharmaceutical programmes. Hostel accommodation for both the male and female students are found in different parts of the campus to allow outstation students to find suitable accommodation. An auditorium is an area of an organisation that is prepared for events and seminars and a cafeteria is responsible for feeding students and staff. The facilities include a health centre which shows that the college cares for students, and their health with a first aid facilities. Also, NMT Gujarati College of Pharmacy has good IT facilities, additional accommodation for the guesting faculties and their families, and adequate parking space for faculties, staffs and students.

At present, there is only Bachelors of Pharmacy or B.Pharma programme available in NMT Gujarati College of Pharmacy. This is a full-time residential course of four-years duration for the award of B.Pharm offering basic courses in pharmaceutical sciences. The college has been given an approval to take 100 students for this programme, a measure it has taken to make sure quality delivery of its programmes while making sure it opens up education to a large number of future pharmacists. B.Pharma at NMT Gujarati College of Pharmacy is designed in a manner that it lays syllabus accordingly such that it imparts both theoretical and practical knowledge to the students in order to place them in the pharma industry or for further studies.

The admission to NMT Gujarati College of Pharmacy is done on the basis of examination and entrance tests, and is clear. Admission to most colleges in Nigeria especially affiliated colleges might adhere to the standards of the parent university.
