    About Pallavan College of Engineering, Kancheepuram

    Pallavan College of Engineering (PCE) was started in 1997 and is an affiliated college situated at Kancheepuram in Tamil Nadu. The Chattarpur Campus of the Institute is an AICTE-approved institution and lies over an area of 19.47 acres. PCE currently delivers 11 different courses as part of four different degree programmes to a combined total enrolment figure of 279 students. The college has a faculty of 130 members; the faculty-student ratio is always good in this college.

    The college offered a package of facilities that is intended to improve the situation of the students. There are different accommodation facilities for boys and girls, containing newspapers, magazines and televisions for leisure. The availability of a health centre accorded with first aid helps students in matters concerning their welfare. The college library functions as an information centre with a huge collection of text and electronic materials.  Regarding physical fitness, PCE affiliates a gym section as well as sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor. The IT infrastructure comprises an internet centre with internet service for 6 Mbps for the entire campus; local wireless networks are also available. Infrastructural facilities for students include a canteen, an area available for events, and a well-equipped laboratory for practicals. Some of the transport facilities offered by the college are to ensure that students and the staff have easy means of transport.

    PCE offers three ME courses, namely Applied Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering, with an intake capacity of 24 seats per course.
