Post Graduate Center Palamuru University, Gadwal was set up in the year 2013 and is a University where both boys and girls are allowed in the Telangana state of India. Being one of the youngest of the higher education centers, it occupies spacious 17-acre land with opportunities to create as appropriate learning ambiance as possible. At the moment, the institute has developed 5 postgraduate courses from 4 degree programmes to meet diverse learning needs. Currently, the center has eight members of faculty, thus, deliberately staffing it with highly committed educators to offer focused attention to the learners.

Most of the facilities available are relevant to the course being pursued by the students at the Post Graduate Center. This vast library contains books on Telugu Literature, Commerce and Computer Science necessary for academic purpose. Developments that are extracurriculum includes; an auditorium that plays host to various events and seminars hence enhancing the aspect of active campus life. 

There are facilities for students to carry out sporting activities to enable students balance between work and play. It also focuses on utilising technology giving the center amazing IT facilities with Wi-Fi throughout the campus. For the social wellbeing of its community, a facility equipped with first aid personnel is an essential need for students within this medical center.

The institute even caters a total number of five full time post graduate courses that clearly signifies its devotion towards the philosophy of specialised higher education. These courses are from arts, commerce, computer science, and management point of view. These competencies were developed and integrated into each of the courses which have an approved intake of 30 students giving a total of 150 students across the different programmes. The present courses being offered include MA Telugu, MA English, M.Sc Computer Science, M.Com, and MBA giving the students an opportunity to pick different courses to study.

The process of admission at Post Graduate Center Palamuru University, Gadwal, an affiliated college of Palamuru University, is mostly through entrance tests. For MBA the students need to clear the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET), which is the only way for the students to get admission into the MBA programme. It is a counselling wherein the TSICET Convener is involved and the admission is given as per the merit only. 

For other postgraduate programmes to study at Osmania University, MA Telugu, MA English, M.Sc Computer Science, M.Com etc, the candidates have to write Osmania University Common Entrance Test known as OUCET. Anyway, these courses have admissions counselling done by the Osmania University and admissions are granted based on the merit in OUCET. This makes the process universal and fair and cutting through all the numerous courses that are offered in various institutions. Its link with renowned examinations such as TSICET and OUCET testifies its ability to produce quality student and retain quality academies with quality students from the region.
