Presidency College of Education for Girls is one of the leading educational institutions in Hyderabad and was established in 2008 which strived to give future teachers. This women’s college is situated in the city of Hydrabad and is an affiliated college whose programmes are recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is a small college occupying just 0.908 acres of land which is the right size of the campus for learning institutions. With a total of 200 students enrolled in its roll and 16 faculties, the college promises to keep student-teacher ratio intact to provide students with quality education, individual attention and care.

Presidency College of Education for Girls offers two primary courses: a Two year full time B.Ed  programme with 100 intake capacity and a one year D.El.Ed programme for 50 students. These courses are intended to prepare students for professional teaching practice that can enable them to succeed in the employed teaching profession. The B.Ed programme is a professional course, especially designed for secondary and higher secondary level teachers wherein academic learning is combined with teaching practicum.
