Priyadarshini Institute of Science and Technology popularly known as PIST, was found in the year 2007 and located in Chinnakanjarla village of Patancheru, Hyderabad, Telangana. This institution provides several engineering courses for students feeling at the diploma level and those with a bachelor’s degree. As a technical institution, PIST has a narrow faculty base of 13 members, and its goals include offering competent technical education to the students who wish to become engineers. The institute teaches 8 courses and has two degree levels, namely B.Tech and Diploma in different fields of Engineering.

Priyadarshini Institute of Science and Technology provides all round facilities for students’ physical and academic development. The college library is a guidance for learners, vast store of information and source of the materials needed to compile the research. Facilities such as well-equipped laboratory are available with a view to encouraging practical lessons for all engineering departments. There is a cafeteria where students and workers can eat, it is located on the territory of educational institution. The institute's IT also provides students with up to date tools to enable them complete their courses. The institute currently provides a total of 8 courses – 4 B.Tech full-time and 3 Diploma courses. While the B.Tech programmes takes four-year duration, the Diploma courses offered in the college takes three-year duration. Teaching of all programmes is begun in the full time mode in order to equip the students with full formal & practical knowledge. The offered B.Tech programmes include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering Electronics and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The Diploma programmes are Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The admission process in the Priyadarshini Institute of Science and Technology is made simple and easy. The institutes accepting B.Tech are state or national level exams. While enrolling for Diploma courses, students can produce their 10th standard marks to get admission or they have to attend an entrance test of their own.
