Pulipati Prasad Institute of Technology and Science – PPITS, as the name suggests, was established in 2008 at Khammam in the state of Telangana and is affiliated with K recognitions and consortiums: affiliations. Located on Wyra Road at Ammapalem, this institute has been providing technical education since the last decade. PPITS provides engineering and management courses consisting of 4 courses in total across 2 degree levels. The institute has a total of 36 members of faculties teaching the students, and the institute is fully equipped with the deserving faculty that can provide quality education to the students. 

The institute boasts of providing a host of amenities to improve student experience. This is an accredited library with a mammoth collection of books, journals, newspapers, periodicals, dailies, newsletters, articles, and magazines specialising in academic disciplines. Specific general-use laboratories that belong to various departments exist to let learning be hands-on in implementing learnt theories. In order to meet all refreshment and socialising needs, the school has provided a cafeteria on campus. The proper provisions for the students’ medical needs are also found at PPITS, as there is a medical centre provided so the students will have first aid. To add to this, the college’s IT helps students to maintain a connection, and they are equipped with modern learning tools. School sports help the learner develop positive physical health habits and harmony in talents in a group. Also for guests, such as visiting faculty and students’ family members, the institute provides a guest house and a waiting room.

Currently, PPITS provides four full-time courses in total for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The B.Tech programmes are five years, and the MBA programme is a two-year programme. The institute's academic portfolio includes three engineering specialisations at the B.Tech level: CS & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. For the science students or those interested in the course, PPITS has an MBA course that one can pursue.
