Rajalakshmi School of Architecture is an affiliated college in Thandalam, Tamil Nadu started in 2010 – Chennai. The focus of this institution which is recognised by the Council of Architecture is in architectural education. This is a compact 2.11 acre campus school, having total 279 students enrolled and faculties of 25 teachers. The institute offers only one programme Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) for which the approved annual enrolment is 60 students.

Rajalakshmi School of Architecture, Chennai is affiliated with the college Anna University, Chennai. The institute has not only developed a good list of facilities that should complement learning and personality development of the students. Some of these facilities are properly equipped practical laboratories for practical’s, Architectural Library containing various resources and modern IT related facilities for learning in design. Managing the physical health one can avail the provision of sports and a gym on the campus. The college also has a functional and well-equipped auditorium for occasion and seminars, hence promoting active college community life.

RSOA is proudly devoted only to its five year full-time B.Arch course to shape up the future architects of India. It has total intakes of 279 students and the institute has received approval to take only 60 students per year for the B.Arch course ensuring that it offers close-knit education. This particularism enables provision of individual attention and comprehensive analysis of ideas and principles of architecture. It is evident from the fact that the school offers only this professional degree programme in architecture.

The entrance examination of Rajalakshmi School of Architecture is dominated by the National Aptitude Test in Architecture or NATA. It is a paper and pencil test was designed to measure candidates’ ability to learn architectural and is used in screening candidates.
