About Rajasthan Dental College & Hospital: RDCH is one of the premier Dental Colleges in Rajasthan, which was established in 2003 at Jaipur, Rajasthan, as one of its kind Educational Institution to cater an important division of health sciences, i.e., Dentistry. Located on a vast area of 3.53 acres of land, RDCH keeps abreast with dental education in the region. The college is affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences and is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI), It provides best dental education. RDCH has a highly qualified faculty of 97 members and provides undergraduate and postgraduate dental programmes to meet the dynamic need in the healthcare field.

To further improve the learning environment, RDCH possesses a fleet of resources that will help the development of the institution and the students in particular. Presently, the college has well-furnished separate hostels for boys and girls to offer comfortable accommodation within the college campus. A library with modern ultra-modern text books, references and both Indian and foreign dental journals is available in the college for students and faculties. The college also have such modern reputations that the college includes a modern gym, sporting fields, and a health center with first aid facilities. The educational programmes provided at RDCH include the basic and master classes for the dental students. The college has a five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme, taking 100 students and laying a solid quality foundation in Dental science. RAADCH gives a number of 156 three-year Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses within the postgraduate level, comprising specialisations of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics and a maximum of Prosthetic Dentistry and Crown Bridge, Periodontics, Odontology and Maxillo-facial Surgery, Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, and Oral and Maxillo-facial Path The capacity of this MDS programme is 3 student per programme to ensure that each programme is able to accommodate each student’s needs in terms of education.

Used in the admission process in RDCH, the merit system and the entrance examinations are standardized at the national level. For the BDS program, normal admissions are through the National Eligibility c Entrance Test Union Government of India, popularly known as NEET UG, conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE). This keeps the door open for only the best and most qualified students from across the country for enrollment to dental education at RDCH. While intake in MDS programs after postgraduate is merit-based, the NBE conducts the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for MDS, or NEET-MDS. This process of selection and admission keeps off the level of education in the institution and, at the same time, helps students prepare for a career in dentistry.
