One of the premier teacher training institutions in the district of Burdwan, West Bengal, is Rajendra Academy for Teachers Education. Founded in the year 2009, the college was located in Gopalpur. It is an affiliated institution and NAAC-accredited. The institution has approval from NCTE and stretches over 1.36 acres, with the academy offering three specialised courses in teacher education. The institution has a very conducive student–teacher ratio with a total enrolment of 655 students and a faculty strength of 36.
