The Rajiv Gandhi Polytechnic, Udgir which is also known as RGP was established in the year of 2009. The founder of RGP Udgir is Bapurao Rathod. The RGP is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education and approved by AICTE. RGP offers diploma courses in the engineering department.

The RGP courses are available in full time mode only. Courses offered at RPG are aimed to provide students with the necessary skills in their field of interest. If a candidate desires to pursue a course at RGP Udgir they need to meet the RGP eligibility criteria. As per the basis of RGP course eligibility criteria, candidates should have completed their matriculation (10th).

The institute is located at Jalkot Road Udgir, Latur - 413517, Maharashtra. The nearest train station for Rajiv Gandhi Polytechnic, Udgir is Lathur railway station. One can take a bus or cab which will take around 1 hour and 50 minutes to the campus of RGP Udgir. Murod Kond Airport is the nearest airport to RGP, Udgir which is 12.58 km away from Lathur. From the airport to the college, the distance is around 90 KM which is well connected with National Highway and it will take 2:15 hours to reach the RGP campus.
