Ramachandra Chandravansi Institute of Technology, Palamu (RCIT Palamu) is a reputed technical institution started its journey in 2003. The overall functioning male and female institute is situated in Bishapur, Jharkhand that has empowered the students to etch the future of engineering for almost twenty years. RCIT Palamu is an affiliated college that has been recognised by All India Council for Technical Education that has made the college standardise with the rest of the country technical education standard.

Ramachandra Chandravansi Institute of Technology Palamu has many amenities that make students learning process to be easy Some of them include; There are adequate hostels for male and female students thus for those students who wish to live in the compound, they will be provided with comfortable hostels. Every good library is equipped to be a resource centre and we pride ourselves in providing students with all the requisite academic tools. Another area that is only rivalled by this institute is technology in terms of investment in equipment where students experience a strong I.T. backing to prepare them for the contemporary world. To be more precise, the institute provides a complete spectrum of engineering courses, all of which are traditional Day, Full-time, Four-year B.Tech programmes. RCIT Palamu currently offers seven different B.Tech programmes that have been approved for admissions of 60 students each thus implying 420 students per course. The available specialisation areas are Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Control Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
